Become part of this unique exhibition about Danish Hip Hop over 40 years: "Døgnfluen der ikke ville dø"

From August 30 to September 13, 2024, the Hip Hop Association will celebrate four decades of Danish hip hop culture at Spor 10 in Sydhavnen. We are excited to show how Danish hip hop has evolved and continues to thrive as a huge commercial success, while maintaining its character as a counterculture. At the exhibition we present the four key elements of hip hop: MCing (rapping), DJing, Breakdancing (B-boying), and Graffiti/Street Art.

The exhibition will only take place this one time, and if you are interested in the unique opportunity to join the team, we need volunteers to help staff the exhibition at the door and keep guard. All volunteers are welcome, young and old - wheelchair users can also take on tasks, as there are ramps. All shifts are 5-hour long and take place between 10:00-20:00.

All volunteer shifts count, and we would be especially happy if you take on two shifts. Come join us!

Practical information:

On all shifts, you will be part of a team of 5 people (including yourself) who guard different positions in the exhibition space. In addition to staffing the door, you will take turns checking admission tickets.

As a volunteer, you will receive a meal and drinks on each shift. As an extra thank you for taking a task you will also receive a ticket for the Hip Hop 40 concert "Fra de første til de største" which is held at Forum, Copenhagen, on September 14th.

NB: You may be English-speaking, but be prepared that most visitors at the exhibition are Danish-speaking.
