In 2024, Golden Days is entering the conversation about the so-called work life, when the festival from September 6-22 tries to find the balance between past, future, part-time, overtime, and leisure.

Nine to five or 24/7. Some live to work, while others work to live. But whether we do it on piece rate or contract, for meaning or for pay, for perks or for bread on the table, it defines who we are.

So what do you do? It's often the opening line when we meet new people. Work is a cardinal point in our understanding of both ourselves and others. It dictates how, where, and with whom we spend most of our waking hours. Whether we have climbed to the top of the career ladder, are outside the job market, or just keeping the hamster wheels turning, it's something everyone has an opinion on. And requires meaning with. But why is it the work rather than leisure that largely determines our self-understanding? And has it always been like that? For the carter, the potter, and the consultant alike?

We are looking for a team of culture-loving volunteers who want to help ensure that we get better at making the festival each year.

Volunteer task:

As a volunteer, your task is to distribute questionnaires to the guests participating in the festival's many events. You can choose the events yourself from the schedule, and if you take three or more shifts, we will reward you with a volunteer gift. Your task is crucial for the festival, as we use the evaluation forms to find out what the audience thinks of each event during the festival. This way, we get better and better at making the festival.

It looks to be a wonderful festival, filled with exciting and diverse events.
